The Name
CoperniX honours two people who changed what humanity believes is possible.
Coperni — Nicolaus Copernicus proposed that the Earth orbits the Sun, not the other way around. In doing so, he overturned centuries of accepted wisdom, ignited the Scientific Revolution, and permanently changed how humanity understands its place in the cosmos. His greatest contribution wasn't a new instrument or a faster ship — it was a clearer model of reality.
X — The mark of Elon Musk, founder of Tesla and SpaceX. The X that closes SpaceX's name represents the same relentless drive to collapse what everyone assumed was impossible. Musk brought disruptive clarity to commercial space; Copernicus brought it to astronomy five centuries earlier.
